Into the Wild
Namibia

Dune, fog and shipwrecked silence. Namibia is for travellers who want the desert to rearrange their sense of scale.

The Skeleton Coast is not a backdrop. It is a weather system you enter: cold Atlantic air meeting red sand, seals calling from the wrack, dunes that move a few metres between visits.
We compose Namibia around silence and distance. Mornings on the gravel plains. Afternoons watching oryx hold the horizon. Evenings when the temperature drops and the desert becomes a different country.
Nothing here is a package. Camps are chosen for how they sit in the land, not how they photograph. The itinerary holds empty hours on purpose.

The coast
Shipwrecks, seal colonies and a road that ends when the fog begins.
The dunes
Sossusvlei at first light, then the long walk into Deadvlei while the sand is still cold.
The north
Damaraland’s stone and desert-adapted elephants, if the season and the animals agree.
